Hi, I'm Heather, owner of Border Hill Farm. So glad you are here! 

Border Hill Farm started with a homesteading dream that slowly came to life 10 years ago. Starting with the most common backyard bird, laying hens. With little infrastructure needed, it was the best place to start. Then came our first year of raising Cornish Cross meat birds. Since that first year, we haven't been back to the grocery store for chicken.  What a great feeling! 

As the years went on, it was time to get our own equipment, which led to us renting it, which then led us to where we are today, a highly functional, efficient, mobile poultry processing business. This year, 2026 is our sixth year in business. (Wow! So grateful for you all!) My partner, Matt started helping in 2023 and has been a huge help in making things more efficient. Matt also has years of prior processing under his belt from his homesteading journeys as well. We make a great team!
